From a San Antonia who has lived here since childhood: this is the type of Mexican food restaurants the locals eat at! We call them hole-in-the-wall restaurants because these type of restaurants aren 't there to wow you with expensive buildings and decor. These places are about tasty, quick food in a cozy atmosphere. This place has been right here for decades and is consistent. Huevos Rancheros is my favorite. Their breakfast tacos also are always a win. This is where the locals eat!

Hands down some of the best Mexican food I have ever had!!!

This little restaurant is truly an oasis in the middle of downtown. In a time of rising costs, they have managed to keep their prices very reasonable and the food delicious. We've moved out of town now, but when we come back, The Oasis is always one of our stops for lunch. Thank you, Oasis!
