The bartender was playing her music all night in the playlist was absolutely fire. It's a bummer that the city is going to eminent domain this place away and steal Moses livelihood. Enjoy it while you View all feedback.
What Jack Kenneth doesn't like about Moses Roses:
Cool spot. Sad to see it go but… Take the $4M offer relocation across the street and move on. You can invest that money in another property. This building is a tiny sliver parcel (4,500SF) and you only paid $1.1M in 2014 for it. It’s not worth $17M!! Life is short, and you aren’t going to win a lawsuit. Good luck! View all feedback.
Never been there, but, they’re across the street from the Alamo- this private property shouldn’t be overtaken by eminent domain; San Antonio officials need an education.
Moses Roses is a landmark business in San Antonio and has been for a long time. Sad that Texas is ironically violating your property rights with eminent domain over something as trivial as tourism. You need to take this to the Supreme Court. SHOW YOUR REAL TEXAN COLORS AND DEFEND YOUR PROPERTY. As for the 1 start reviews here, I call BS. They were probably alcoholics cut off from the bar.
Until issue with city is resolved they have limited food as they are letting good employees go to new jobs as they get them, let city council know how wrong this is to take a private business for corporate gain. Just wrong!
In town visiting and it was just steps away from the hotel. It was a great time. I had a blast and the 4 dollar shots were spot on.
