Great lunch with some business colleagues from the #HelotesChamberofCommerce. Connecting and learning more about each other and our businesses. My stuffed poblano pepper with shrimp and Queso Fresco was wonderful. Nicely roasted with grilled veggies, salad and Spanish rice. Well balance and light so you don?t have to feel guilty abut having #TexMex View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Las Palapas:
We arrived right on time, but the service was quite slow, likely due to being understaffed. However, our server was friendly and offered us chips and salsa while we waited for our food. Thankfully, the food was delicious and served at a nice temperature. View all feedback.
The staff is highly professional and always ready to assist promptly.
Management improved front counter service for ordering takeout in person, much appreciated. Now, when I walk in, they seem to be better staffed up front and they have some kind of alarm dinging indicating a customer is waiting up front. Also I see the manager monitoring the front and he said hi to me. Nice improvement!
Love this location...great food, service, and got to love the happy hour to the full bar options they have
This place is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants to get chicken fajita plates . The prices are amazing during lunchtime and extremely affordable for college students looking to dine in. The atmosphere is what you can expect of any other las palapas, but the staff here are one of the most welcoming ones I've met!
This Las Palapas has a fairly new outdoor area, which is really cute, with colorful lights. We were able to get a side of sauteed zucchini, squash, tomatoes onions. It was great. It was much quieter than usual, had no threatening people, which occasionally happens. The chips were great. The salsa was pretty good, too, the prices were affordable. Their nachos come with nice jalapenos (not too hot).
