was a few times and really enjoy their mixed fajitas. Homemade tortillas are fresh and when they are there in the happy hour, they get the tex mex caso. patios is beautiful and dog friendly. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about La Gloria:
I hate to leave bad reviews. but I also want to prevent others from having a less than great food experience. everything on this place is not close. Please, unless you want to go on a lunch break and want to go for good, look for it. even the customer service was not in the position. also lime water has not the same ingredients as a margarita. they were missing. I hoped that the best in the place itself has great pot... View all feedback.
This restaurant is a unique and eclectic place! There are so many interesting things to see and take photos with. The outdoor seating was wonderful on a beautiful, perfect-weather day. The food was amazing. I ordered guacamole, queso, salsa (which was fire-roasted), and the Torre de Mariscos. It was a beautifully presented dish and tasted even better than it looked! I also had a watermelon mojito which was the best, most refreshing mojito I've ever had! I own a liquor store and have worked as a bartender in the past, and this drink was perfection in a glass! I will definitely come back just for another one! My cousins ordered street tacos which had browned white cheese bubbling to perfection. Our grandma had verde-style enchiladas which looked delicious! Everything was well-seasoned and reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning!
The food was terrible; we used to dine here frequently but began to notice a significant decline in both food quality and service. The $10 margaritas were lacking in alcohol. The $25 meat was overcooked and had a burnt taste, the tortillas were stale, and the waitress appeared annoyed when we requested a menu and chips. There are much better Mexican restaurants nearby.
It was also mentioned to us that the other location cooks their shrimp longer in lime juice, unlike this location, which also adds olive oil to the marinade, hindering the cooking process with the lime juice. This combination did not result in a satisfactory dish for us. We recommend taking photos of your food to show any concerns to the manager, as we were initially met with resistance from the staff when expressing our dissatisfaction. Overall, we will not be returning to this location in the near future.
The food was excellent The margaritas even more so, but sitting outside overlooking I-10 with screaming children running around in all directions was not our idea of a romantic dinner out. Next time we will either try their other location, or just do take out.
Fantastic place, great food, awesome service. Street tacos are amazing. A must
