What Steven Lee doesn't like about Koifin Poke Sushi Burrito:
A very dull not so authentic experience. The food tasted OK but the pricing is not equal to what you get. The sitting arrangement was odd and uncomfortable. Eating in the car was a better alternative.Go to Ginza Poke and ramen. They’ll take care of you. View all feedback.
I had a rather lackluster experience here that felt far from authentic. While the food was decent, the prices did not reflect the quality I received. The seating arrangement was awkward and uncomfortable, making the dining experience less enjoyable. Honestly, eating in my car felt like a better option. I would recommend going to Ginza Poke and Ramen instead; they truly know how to take care of their customers.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered four poke bowls, three sushi rolls, and two gyozas online. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was informed that there was no sushi chef available. I found it quite frustrating that a restaurant would take my payment and wait for me to arrive only to tell me they couldn't fulfill my order because the sushi chef wasn’t there.
The sushi at Koi Fin Poke is absolutely delightful. My top choice has to be the dragon roll, as the eel always tastes incredibly fresh! David showcases exceptional skill and precision in his craft, preparing each piece of sushi with careful attention to detail. The fish is undeniably fresh, along with all the other ingredients. It's clear that the restaurant takes great pride in sourcing the highest quality ingredients to provide an outstanding dining experience. I will definitely return to Koi Fin for some of the best sushi in San Antonio. I also highly recommend their poke bowls, which are equally tasty.
I've had poke all over the states, the best being in Hawaii. This is an average poke. It didn't seem as fresh, flavors were muted. Portions were small for the price. Hula Poke so far is the best I've had on this side of town.Food: 3/5
Went with the three protein sushi burrito; spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, and eel. Exceptional. Pretty spacious dining area. There are so many choices for whatever you decide to get.Food: 5/5
