This is my favorite Afghan restaurant in San Antonio. The restaurant is very clean. service is top notch, prices are great and portions are very generous. The food at this restaurant is delicious and ithe best quality afghan food I have had so far after trying afghan food at many different places around the US. We had afghan rice (quabuli) with lamb shank and lamb kebabs. I highly recommend this restaurant. Support t... View all feedback.
What Anjeanette R doesn't like about Kabob Land:
It appears this establishment has recently changed hands. Although it used to offer some of the best food around, I recently ordered 3 plates and appetizers to go. I spent $50 and it was a big waste of my money. I took one bite of the food and threw everything away. Everything tasted terrible, it was not fresh, the spices used were not tasty and I was so disappointed. I will not return. View all feedback.

The portions were generous, and the meat was tender. The rice was excellent as well. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, which made our experience even better.
I really enjoyed this place! The gentleman who worked there that night was very friendly, and they truly deserve more customers. However, if you're craving a gyro, just a heads-up that the lettuce is marinated, which might be a bit different from what you're used to. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that my husband wasn't a fan of the lettuce, but I actually liked it. We ordered takeout.
Just ok food ,dry meat seasoning is off if you a foodie this is not for you .
I don 't give a lot of 5 stars but AMAZING!!! We were a little apprehensive about going. I am glad we did. The lamb Karahi was amazing. Tender with just the right amount of fat. Not too spicy, but it was spicy. The bread was huge, and perfect. The adana kabob. I think that 's what it was called was good. At first it tasted like a regular kabob, but then a spicy flavor kicked in. The Afghanistan tea was okay. I liked how they brought it out. I am pretty picky. But We will be back, that should say it all.
