I’ve had amazing evenings at Jardin and then there was last night. The menu change is disappointing. Items seem heavy. I was excited for deviled eggs but then realized they weren’t! Cutting a hard-boiled egg in half and drizzling sauce on it is NOT deviled! We blended the yolk ourselves at the table with a fork and this was an improvement. Why cheat on a classic, not really buying a deconstructed deviled-egg. View all feedback.

I’m giving Jardin 5 stars for its outstanding service. However, the food was just average. I ordered the lamb burger, which turned out to be a bit overcooked and dry. The portion sizes felt small for the price. While the ambiance is nice, it’s not the best spot for a quiet conversation, as noise travels easily and there were several parties with young children making a lot of noise.
The atmosphere was a bit noisy, and the choice of music felt modern but unnecessary.
Fantastic atmosphere, amazing staff, and a really creative menu. The portions were so generous that we had to take some leftovers home!
Overlooked gem in SA. Lots of interesting appetizers and small plates. Excellent cocktails. Great service.
