A really great place for breakfast. Came here by chance on day 1 and had some really delicious tacos.. You never know what you may stumble upon in SA. There are so many hidden little gems of Mexican restaurants and J&I Cafe is yet another one I wished I’d have found a long time ago. They’ve been around since 1989 and I can see how they’ve survived the ups and downs of the economy and the pandemic. The food was excellent, as somebody’s abuela is in the kitchen cooking up hot dishes. Don’t pass this jewel on the east side of SA up, as it’s easy to do. You won’t regret it. ¡Provecho!
This cafe had a family oriented vibe to it. It's a hidden gem in the heart of downtown San Antonio. Coffee was good and the Huevo Ranchero plate was delicious.
Good food at reasonable prices with friendly service.
Best tacos ever! Taste just like grandma's homemade Mexican plates with
The outside doesn't look great but once you walk in it's a different world. The place is immaculately clean from the vents, ceiling fans, the kitchen EVERYTHING is clean. I've been in San Antonio for 3 years and this has been the best breakfast I've eaten I'll definitely return to try lunch and dinner. Gracias.
