I visited Garcia’s on a day trip to San Antonio. The wait in line was well worth it for the food. I got the Steak ala Mexicana, had it modified to extra hot, it was delicious. br/ br/ I had heard about the bbq brisket, I tried a brisket taco. I was not a fan, it had to much smoke in the meat and seemed a little dry. br/ br/ I will return for the steak ala mexicana. View all feedback.
What Modesto Powlowski doesn't like about Garcia's Mexican Food:
This Mexican restaurant wasn't the best I've had, but it wasn't terrible either. The chipotle sauce on the enchiladas was excessively salty, which made it seem like it came from a jar. View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant was excellent! It was a bit too crowded for us, as every table was taken, but I'm not sure if they already had tables divided.

I decided to give this restaurant a try for the first time. The chips and salsa were decent, but the salsa tasted more like a puree with jalapeño juice and lacked spiciness. We also ordered this dish.
This restaurant is amazing, I highly recommend visiting and trying the brisket plate. I've had a lot of different brisket around Texas, and without a doubt, this is the best brisket in Texas! The service is fantastic, very friendly and attentive to your needs. I always leave feeling happy. Thank you Garcia's, keep up the great work!
We absolutely loved their huevos rancheros, but you must also try their brisket tacos. They are fantastic. The brisket was perfectly seasoned, tender, and had a delicious smoky flavor. I haven't found BBQ this good even in Houston. Their Huevos Mexicana were also delicious. We couldn't leave without taking some of their amazing brisket home. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. This restaurant is a must-visit if you are in San Antonio.
