Always love the tamales. Pork is the best. Must remember to get more salsa. Enjoy the barbacoda with corn tortillas. Unfortunately, they ran out, so i had to do without. Abundant of flour so those that can have flour, enjoy. Prices are fair as well, given the economy. View all feedback.
The tamales, tortillas, salsa, and barbacoa here are outstanding. The staff is incredibly friendly. I've been making the journey from Houston for the last 20 years!
I always love the tamales here, and the pork is my favorite. I need to remember to ask for extra salsa next time! The barbacoa with corn tortillas is delicious, but unfortunately, they ran out, so I had to go without. If you can enjoy flour tortillas, there are plenty available. The prices are reasonable too, considering the current economy.
This is a fantastic spot for fresh tamales and barbacoa, along with both corn and flour tortillas. The service is incredibly quick, and the prices are excellent. If you're looking for even faster service, it's best to call ahead.
Although there are plenty of places in San Antonio to get tamales and tortillas, there is only on Del Rio (well technically 2 if you live out near Poteet on weekends). Del Rio tamales and tortillas are delicious and I would put them up against any others with confidence. Consistent flavor with just the right amount of filling to masa. Try them and I guarantee you'll agree!
