They only had 1 person working there. They make their products in house, but the briskets, ribs and turkey are made once a week, so not made fresh daily. The food was good, but not sure if it's good enough to come back with other places that make their food daily. They offered military discount without asking. I ordered the brisket sandwich with fries. I really appreciated the generous portion of fries, but I found the brisket to be dry, which was disappointing given the price and size of the sandwich. Additionally, the gentleman at the counter who took my order wasn't particularly friendly—perhaps he was having a tough day. The jalapeño cream corn was inedible, and the coleslaw was equally unappetizing. The flavors of both were unlike anything I’ve experienced at a barbecue restaurant, and not in a good way. I really hate to be negative; this is actually my first time reviewing a restaurant. Unfortunately, I won’t be paying for this barbecue again. To top it off, they forgot my potato salad.
Food was very dry and bland, they gave me what look like scraps of onions left
Bushwood Country Club is a great place, no doubt about it. I want to clarify that my rating of 4 stars instead of 5 isn’t a reflection on the staff or the property itself. The atmosphere is quite casual, and the bar feels a bit outdated with that typical bar odor. I tried the BBQ once, and it was decent. The driving range is enjoyable, and I love grabbing a beer while hitting some balls.
This is a friendly place with a wonderful atmosphere and great people! The bartendress is extremely welcoming. I enjoyed sitting on the patio, where I passed around my guitar and had a fantastic time with some really cool folks. The patio is the perfect spot to relax, especially with views of the golf course. Plus, there are plenty of lovely ladies around!
