Boiler House At The Pearl - San Antonio

One of the best restaurants I've visited in the SA area! We chose this spot for its outdoor seating and pet-friendly atmosphere, and it was wonderfully shaded. They even provided a water bowl for my puppy. The food was outstanding—I had the salmon crepes with poblano cream sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. We also ordered a side of barbacoa for my puppy, who loved it! I enjoyed some sautéed broccolini on the side as well. My husband had a BLT on gluten-free bread, which he really liked. I highly recommend this place! The service was excellent too.

Wow! We've never dined at the Boiler House before, but we will definitely return! The cocktails were fantastic, the appetizer was cooked and presented beautifully, the main courses and sides were delightful to enjoy and share, and the dessert struck the perfect balance between sweet and tart! I brought my clients to the restaurant, and they absolutely loved the atmosphere and the food.

We had a few issues, steak cooked wrong, salad drenched in dressing, we were all sweating it was so hot and we were inside. My chicken was really good and my husband liked the brisket empanadas he ordered as well as said the bread pudding was fantastic. Drinks took way too long and no one was impressed . We even tried dessert drinks trying again and my bourbon coffee was undrinkable for me. The manager really tried hard to make it a great experience so serious kudos to him having me up my overall score. He brought out a nice dessert platter for the table that was really presented well on the house due to all of our issues.

The food and service were good, but it was a little hot and stuffy as we sat upstairs. It would have been nice if it was a cool escape from the heat outside.
