Contribute FeedbackPeasant Village in San Angelo has garnered a mix of reviews from its patrons. While some diners have enjoyed the experience and praised the upscale ambiance, excellent service, and delicious food, others have been left disappointed by burnt dishes, cold food, and lackluster service. The restaurant's menu offers seasonal dishes, with some guests raving about the perfectly cooked duck, delectable cheesecake, and the best burger they've ever had. Despite some negative feedback, Peasant Village seems to be a go-to spot for special occasions, with its VIP treatment, classy atmosphere, and attentive staff. Overall, it appears that Peasant Village offers a mixed culinary experience, with some patrons loving the high-end dining experience while others remain unimpressed.
We we're looking for a place to have an intimate dinner for a special occasion and PV delivered. Our food was cooked to perfection. The Risotto was so good and creamy. Food was truly delicious. This place is all about making your dinner special. I love that this restaurant is by reservation only. Our waitress was so kind and did everything to make our night special. This will definitely be our dinner date place. Seating is limited giving a cozy ambiance.
The restaurant was quiet, super small menu and we received a call 20 minutes prior to our reservation saying they were out of the only steak option. Food was good. Nothing I would call great and service was mediocre. I was disappointed because I had wanted to eat here for awhile. Crab cake was ok, my husband and daughter really liked the shrimp. Salads were good and fresh
Some the best cooked Duck I've ever had anywhere! Mixed with truffle mashed potatoes mixed veggies was the perfect combination! Topped off with the cheese cake to make a perfect meal!
We had been told by many people that this was the best restaurant in San Angelo, so we gave it a try. Our server barely knew anything about the menu. When we asked about an appetizer, he said it was good and served with some kind of jelly?! He kept forgetting to ring in our drinks. The food was okay. One person at our table ordered the chicken and it was burnt, the seafood platter was definitely not worth the 35.00, but I will say the steak was great. The drinks were delicious as well. I think I'd go back for a few drinks but that about it.
Very good! But meat was over seasoned on all three meats the table got. Great service and drinks.
