I grew up in San Angelo... left for the Marines and have come back from time to time over the years. It wasn't until this trip to move my last family member (uncle) out of Angelo. So we looked for a good place to toast his departure from Angelo and found 19 Thirty Three. LOVED the vibe, atmosphere, and of course the whiskey selection. Large small whisky bar with a wide selection of liqueurs. Here twice for an old fashion during my week trip. Preisy, but good and beautiful adult atmosphere.

The best selection of whisky in town, along with fantastic cocktails and an amazing atmosphere.
One of the waiters kicked my party out simply because I said I was feeling good about having a Jack and Cola. She then made a scene, suggesting she could lose her job for serving me! It was all so ridiculous just for expressing how I felt. When I asked for a water instead of alcohol, she told us we had to leave. So, we took our business to Fat Boss, where the service and atmosphere are always reliable, and the staff is consistently friendly.
The only whiskey bar in town... Unfortunately, the two bartenders seem to have little knowledge of whiskey. However, the selection is surprisingly decent. We ended up overpaying for a couple of drinks, but on the flip side, we got some great deals on others. If they invested in staff training, this place could really shine. For now, it's just average.
