Qbano - San Andrés

My daugther went to a fast eating there and had sandwiches. nothing special, average eating at a decent price.

I hate everything fast eating and avoid it like the plague. Of course in Colombia it is slow eating! we had missed last orders on 4 or 5 restaurants, so we arrived hungry! So we waited about 20 minutes for our two Panini style sandwiches. both of them were delicious! my friend had a vegetarian tomatenmozzarella etc. and I had the terriyaki huh. wow, it was good! I had the personal 21cm, but wish I had the size 35cm. I thought seriously to order a second, it was so good!

We were pretty hungry when we popped in to Qbano. It's a small and clean establishment. As a vegetarian, I had a tough time finding anything on the menu and opted for nachos and cheese which was a mistake. The cheese didn't taste much like...cheese (can't articulate what it did taste like) and the nachos were a bit off as well. My friend ordered a deli sandwich and was okay with it. We waited for a while (they'd just opened) and the food wasn't hot. I wouldn't return here since there's not much of interest on the menu for my dietary needs. However, the staff was nice. El Gato Rio is directly across the street which is how we ended up trying Qbano in the first place. Did I mention, the limonada was great!

The best thing is they will deliver! Great sandwiches from Cuban to shredded beef (Mexican style my fav). Simple but really tasty. Enjoy on the waterfront or have it delivered to where you are staying.

To start was the air conditioned damaged so to a hellish heat, it was full and there was nowhere to sit we were with baby and no one at the restaurant even asked if we needed anything, when canceling they had no turns then it was a problem to pay, in short it is saved only the food
