This was the best meal we had the entire week we stayed in Acapulco! My husband and I had a romantic table facing the ocean waves at sunset. We ordered the seafood combination for two which included a whole red snapper, two lobsters and shrimp with rice and fried plantains. Everything was delicious!! My husband and I couldn't stop talking about how much we loved everything. Our waiter's name was Ricky and he was fantastic! He was extremely helpful and made our last night in Acapulco very memorable. If you're in Acapulco, we highly recommend a seaside dinner at Esmirna del Mar.

The food is excellent, ethnic dishes, so fresh that you choose your fish, lobster, shrimps.The shrimp empanada is amazing, so tasty and a real Mexican dish.Beans sopes are truly amazing if you don't like hot salsa don't try the green one but a little drop is a must, be careful is very very hot but with a wonderful flavor.The ocean is stunning in this side of Acapulco, is very safe, local friendly good people.Here is my amazing surprise. I forgot my IPhone 6 Plus in the table and I realized that arriving at my hotel 30 minutes ahead so I went back and they was waiting for me with my iPhone that my waitress gave to the manager and it was very difficult to convinced she to accept a gratuity.Don't pay attention to bad news, Acapulco is full of honest, ethic, lovely people. They have problems like every country and city but not in touristic spots. I loved Esmirna, the relax ambience and the real Mexican local food, the lovely service made and unforgettable afternoon!

Located in Barra Vieja. A bit of a drive from downtown, but worth it. Had the grilled snapper with garlic (you can pick out your own and pay by the kilo) and it was wonderful. Nice place and very clean. Would highly recommend.

Location is kinda in the middle of nowhere! view of the beach isnt great. but the fresh seafood was INCREDIBLE! brought the fresh choices to our table to select what we wanted. best red snapper we both have ever had!! After dinner went for a walk on the beach and left our table for just a moment and a dog took our leftover fish LOL !!! luckily we were done, and this is common on the beaches in mexico!
