Contribute FeedbackMixed reviews were given for Vaca Brava, a restaurant in Old San Juan. Complaints included long wait times, lukewarm food, and unprofessional service. However, some diners praised the great steaks, friendly staff, and lively atmosphere. While some patrons were disappointed by the experience, others enjoyed the local flavors and live music. Despite the hit-or-miss service, the food received positive feedback. Whether you have a memorable time like Charlie or are left wanting more, Vaca Brava seems to offer a diverse dining experience that may be worth exploring.
Very loud, the music was blasting! Some plates were great (shrimp mofongo), others were overcooked (churrasco Carne frita).
Worst meal we have ever had in Puerto Rico. Vegetables were complete mush, cooked to the point that the broccoli had the consistency of mashed potatoes. Salmon was overcooked. No dressing on the salad.
Service was VERY slow No sense of realizing we have hungry KIDS
Service took us >2 hours to get any food, some of the food was then cold. Would not recommend for anyone.
Complete waste of time. We were trying to be patient, but it became a joke!! We waited almost two hours for our order. We finally received the appetizer, which was burnt and disgusting — how can you mess up French fries??!! After the terrible appetizer, we decided to leave before our entrees arrived. Only then did anyone pay attention. I feel bad for the hardworking waiters there. But it’s a poorly run place. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This place doesn’t deserve your business.
