What KellyJ doesn't like about Tilo Mexican Restaurant:
Unfortunately, our waiter lacked experience and struggled to assist us with our selections. The pre-made guacamole was subpar. However, the manager made an effort and prepared a better margarita for me, and the tableside guacamole turned out to be quite delicious. The steak was mediocre, but the chicken was excellent. I think they have a bit of improvement to make. View all feedback.
Really nice little spotCame here with my girlfriend for a night of drinks and relaxation Cheap/tasty margaritas (on happy hour) and great food.
Came in at 11:30 for lunch and sat with our kids for 15 mins waiting for someone to greet us or take our order.
Maria Alviar was an excellent waitress and Ryan Fernandez was a very attentive bartender. The food was delicious and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting San Antonio.
The atmosphere was good, the noise level was ok, the food was missing. The service was very good, nice waiters and reception! The sweetness of the sauces in our Mexican food was very different and not good! Even the salsa for the fries was more like spaghetti. How do you mess up something simple like salsa? We think the worst was the enchilada sauce, sweet sauce, cinnamon doesn't go with enchiladas, I don't care if it's California, it doesn't taste good, sorry !!!!!!
I absolutely adore this restaurant! The salsa is amazing and the mole is fantastic. I make sure to visit every time I'm in Laguna Beach.
