Many visits enjoyed, this time: asked if they had a certain wine (usually $17-18 a glass), told no but they had one similar. When the check came: wine was $33 a glass. As a waiter myself for over twenty years, this was a crappy way to treat guests. Makes me doubt returning again, and a shame after some wonderful times there. Don't screw your guests over, servers. What Markie Roser doesn't like about The Palm San Antonio:
Impeccable service don't misconstrue this review. The food however was poor borderline inedible. My wife got a buffalo mozzarella salad and fries because they have zero vegetarian options. Maybe an ounce of mozzarella with apples? And prosciutto 1 piece thankfully so it could be picked off. I had wagu lasagna and if you could find any meat in the bolognese you'd be lucky. Everything was great! A little rocky at first but the manager on shift took charge and not only served me made some great suggestions! And she made sure the give me the meat Ball starter for free!! The meat ball is a must do!! I had the wagu steak for the first time and it was amazing!! And the Donuts for dessert! Over all a straight 10 on everything!!

Absolutely amazing food and service! The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly, the scallops were tender, and the lamb was out of this world. Our waiter William was very kind, attentive, and made excellent recommendations that met our needs!

All this being said I realize it's a steakhouse and we didn't order steak. But this meal was a genuine disappointment. They have to do a better job for the price.
Very fresh and tasty. Costs accordingly. It is worth it ..
