Not the cheapest burger, but hey, they have Garlic Aioli as a condiment choice… The Counter has very tasty burgers in 1/3, 2/3, or full pound sizes, the option to go bun-less, or have a nice toasted wheat bun. They allow you to have four different toppings on your burger on top of your choice of cheese and spread… pretty much endless combinations. I really love their sweet potato fries… they were double-fried, or som... View all feedback.
What KisstheCook doesn't like about The Counter:
Okay, I think we can all agree that Santana Row is a tiny bit pretentious. I absolutely hate paying for an expensive-yet-unenjoyable meal. But unfortunately, I have to admit that I have yet to have a bad meal (overpriced, yes) at SR. The Counter, with their small-town diner decor, offers burgers that are typically Californian – lots of unique add-ons and foo-foo dipping sauces. The regular and sweet potato fries are... The counter is a delicious and filling burger compound to eat a bite. They are indeed dog friendly and are for dogs. Dogos can use their own cardboard water bowls and even puppies. Burgers are very rich and tasty to boot served on a brioche bungalow. You can't really go wrong to get what Burger talks to you, they're all very good. If you do not want a burger from the menu, you can even create your own burger to meet your wishes. Pages are ordered separately or added to burgers. I recommend half the style of the pages so you can mix and fit. The shoe strings and roasted onion rings are where it really is. It also serves beers and cocktails. They have a wider selection of cocktails as beer, but still have all standard beers and a few unique brews. Recommend the counter if you want a dog friendly Burger place that also serves alcohol!
We ordered two drinks, Parmesanfries, a vegetable burger and the grilled cheese sandwich. My drink (similar to a vodka tonic, but I can't remember the name) was ok, but Hubby's mango margarita (which I also wanted and he ordered) was delicious. The food was good, but the beautiful, unexpected part was that we had asked that the burger be cut into half and they brought out the half pieces on two separate plates with the Balsamico sauces. So pleasant surprise. sitting outside was comfortable with the heaters and there was a party on the roof of the hotel on the street, the Punjabi music played a bonus! There was an unexpected automatic service fee (compulsory tip). Obviously, we wanted to give tips because the food and the environment were good and we enjoyed each other, but I don't care about such automatic fees, so minus a star.
I love any place that has delicious and healthy vegetarian options. Counter is my best choice for your own burger The amount of customization you can add is endless. Heaven is the border. Each ingredient is fresh, and you can say is clean source. You can see the photo how delicious the burger was. I write this review! If you have not tried Counter Burger, please fall down everything you do now and enjoy!
Fun not to order all parts, then it is sometimes hard to pick it up because it is so full. Veggie Burger is eh. You have impossible burgers. Regular burgers are apparently excellent. Once they had Halibut Burger. I miss them.
Ambient outdoor dining with a right vibe on a Friday night. Waiter was in hurry as the kitchen was about to close in 5 min. Brussel sprouts were super oily and tasted okay. The Meltdown was bland and actually cold by the time we had a bite of it. Sprouted Veggie Burger tasted good but it?s on the drier side. Sweet potato fries were over-fried, they were more like chips, only could have because of the horseradish aioli. Overall not so great experience with the food. May be need to try something else on the menu.
