However, others enjoyed the large portions and flavorful dishes, particularly highlighting the Baked Apple Pancake and the variety of breakfast options. The service was a point of contention, with some customers finding it lacking while others praised the friendliness of the staff. Despite the mixed feedback, many customers appreciate the consistent quality of the food and the reasonable prices, making this restaurant a favorite spot for breakfast in San Diego. Overall, opinions on this restaurant are varied with both positive and negative aspects to consider.
Visited this place for breakfast, and I wanted some sort of plain/simple/hearty breakfast with coffee, nothing fancy. Tried this place out and got eggs, bacon (thick and tasty), pancakes, and some coffee. Love how they have simple things as well as the extremely tempting options for pancakes and other fancier dishes. Definitely recommend. Also, I tried one of their omelets, and it was the bomb. Cooked to perfection, large portion, and tasty! Try them out if you 're around!
The food is not that great. The line was long and thought that's a good sign. However, that was not our experience as the food was not great. For us, the food was extremely oily and the taste was off. The baked pancakes coated our mouth with an oily taste and tasted like it was fried in extremely old oil used for multiple things. This was just our experience with the food, the staff and atmosphere was nice.
Best breakfast place I’ve ever patronized. Omelettes cooked to perfection, fluffy and tasty pancakes, along with great coffee. The service was great too.
A good breakfast in the center of SD, Excellent Cafe, the traditional pancake and bacon are a must.
Excellent customer service and the food was amazing!!!
