Despite the surroundin... read more I recently enjoyed a delicious banana split at this charming ice cream store near the harbor, surrounded by old and outdated restaurants. Despite the surroundings, the experience was worth it. The banana split was just right - the bananas were perfectly ripe and the price was reasonable at 5 bucks for three scoops of ice cream with all the toppings. The shop had a variety of flavors to choose from, and the covered seating near the water was a nice touch. The hostess was friendly and helpful, picking out her favorite flavors for me. Overall, a great experience and I look forward to visiting again.

An... read more It is one of the restaurants that is overlooking the water at San Pedro, you pick a eat plate to order or you can choose your own fish to grill it or fry it. And their cooking is free. We got also 1 pound of shrimp, they cook it with sauce. Despite going in the memorial weekend and the long line that took us more than hour to order, their service was good, they smile and they give you your time to choose. My only thing that I didn't like, is that they had only 3kinds of fish and 1 kind of Shrimp. Other restaurants in the area has more variety. When you get your order, you just sit outside overlooking the water. It is a public seating doesn't belong to specific restaurant.

The beloved Pan Pacific and its affiliated restaurants are shutting down, a significant loss for the San Pedro neighborhood and the Port Of Los Angeles. The food is straightforward, freshly prepared, and delightful, and the staff is compassionate, dedicated, and welcoming. They truly went out of their way by spicing up my favorite dish with jalapeños at no extra cost. Their outstanding service will be dearly missed. The restaurant and its owners have been a crucial part of the community for as long as I can recall, and it's disheartening to see them leave. Hopefully, they are working on opening a new location. I can't fathom not having their renowned shrimp fajitas. Please come back to us soon, Pan Pacific!

The calamari was perfectly cooked and crispy, with just the right seasoning. The fries were also tasty, with a nice spice and crispiness. The Fajita Shrimp and buttered bread were fantastic. However, the long and slow lines for ordering and pick up were disorganized, leading to mistakes in orders and overcharging for drinks. Despite the great food, the chaotic lines detracted from my overall experience and resulted in a lower rating.
