Eating was good, but not great. the atmosphere is a little bland. a little confusing when they enter, they don't know if they order in the counter. then they see ice service area on foot, then they see the tables. No one who greets us, so we decided where to sit when we said we had just one table. my recommendation is that someone greets them or has at least 1 person in the main entrance, but no one from the restaurant was to see for a few minutes. polizist sucks! be warned and ready to go if there are no available spots in front.

Excellent service.. small space with a FULL BAR!!!. LADYS were very helpful my first time here. ordered an AL Pastor Burger. It actually had the pastor taste that was crazy.. Burger was good. The Margarita I ordered was even better. Not bad for a $20 meal deal. The Fritten also had no complaints.

The visit from the state decided to try here as it was near where I stayed. Bad service, they need more staff. Sa at the bar and was ignored, took my check forever and there were not so many people in there. The Oaxaca Burger was not for me. Much too much mole on him for my taste; messy. The Pommes are overpriced. $8 for these fries is a bit much. $30 for lunch I had was definitely too much.

Memorable experience First time trying Burgerteca I was in the mood for a Mexican burger and this place happened to come across my path. The burgers are delicious. If you like a bit of sweetness in your burger go with the al pastor burger. If you want a true Mexican tasting burger then go with the Chile quiles burger. Me and my wife enjoyed it A lot. The kids enjoyed their chicken nuggets and fries. The outside is beautiful, the inside is a good environment, and the food is delicious ?

Overall, reviews of the restaurant are mixed. Some diners enjoyed the food and atmosphere, while others found the service lacking and the prices too high. The chicken chipotle sandwich was a highlight, but slow service was a common complaint. The atmosphere was described as lively and fun, perfect for tourists or those looking for a photo-worthy backdrop. The Mexican street dog and al pastor burger were highly recommended. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, making for an enjoyable dining experience. However, some felt that the food was overpriced and the service lacking, affecting the overall rating of the restaurant.

The food at this restaurant is overpriced and mediocre. However, the atmosphere is lively and fun, making it a great spot for tourists or those who enjoy taking photos. I give the service 1 star as we sat at the bar with no bartender present, making it difficult to get refills and our food took a long time to arrive, despite ordering a simple burger and hot dog. Overall, I would rate the food a 2 out of 5.

The burgers at this restaurant are absolutely delicious! They offer a unique fusion of classic American staples and traditional Mexican dishes, which is a fantastic combination. The restaurant has a lively and bright atmosphere that complements the music and menu. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring that you have a great dining experience. Make sure to come with an empty stomach because you will want to try everything on the menu and will be satisfied with any choice you make. Some of the seasoning on the burgers can be a bit overpowering, which may be a slight mistake by the cooks, but it doesn't take away from the overall enjoyment of the meal. Despite this, every item I've tried has been delicious and I believe it's definitely worth a visit and a return trip.

I can't say enough about this restaurant that hasn't already been said. My family and I are from Houston, and this was the first place in San Antonio with a fantastic atmosphere and friendly people. Our waiter was extremely nice and the food was delicious. The burgers were especially good. You have to visit this place to experience it for yourself. Our waiter was patient with my boys and took her time with them. Not to mention, my 6 year old had a crush on her!

Service was attentive bit the food was bland. The fries were undercooked, unsalted, and soggy. Even the mole did not pick up flavor until after a bit of salt. The pastor burger offered a nice tropical flavor but again, the beef was bland and did not have any flavor. For what it's worth, the menu is interesting and innovative and I feel just a few changes such as making sure the heart of the house doesn't take shortcuts would make this an outstanding burger chain. The chef has great ideas, I just hope his staff puts the same level of passion into his menu items

It was okay. Love the environment, but it's a bit overpriced. Everything is paid for separately except kids meals. Which the kids meal burger is a decent size

The food is so good. Owned by la Gloria restaurants so the margaritas are good. The place is just nice and the owner is there making sure you are satisfied. The burger I had was an al pastor burger. Very good. I was shocked at the flavors. It's a must try spot in south town .

Close on Mondays. The food is very good. Order the Big Tex, $7.95 made it combo with soft drink and fries $2.25 more. It like a regular burger without cheese, tomato lettuce. With chipotle lime mayo and green sauce. Tables are made from large thick slice of a tree. There is outside seating. It located next the the river.

Repeat visitor from out of state here. I first came about four years ago, and this visit was just as delicious as the last! This time, we ordered takeout to our Airbnb to celebrate my sister’s first meal out of basic training — and yes, it was that good. The tuna burger is hands down the best, and I’m pretty sure that’s what I had last time too. If I get the chance, I’ll definitely come back: everything tastes fresh, and the burgers are full of flavor.

Great place for a Sunday lunch after visiting the Alamo. The food and atmosphere were excellent. We couldn’t choose between a strawberry or mango margarita, so they combined both into one—delicious! Everyone at the table loved their meals, which I take as a good sign.

The food was excellent! The drinks were just okay, and the service could have been better—I had to remind the server multiple times. The fries didn’t arrive until I was nearly finished with my burger.
