*I'm going to preface this review by advising that the table beside us, which received equally poor service the same evening, informed us they had been to
My colleagues and I had reservations at 12 noon and was seated promptly. Since Burmese restaurant are rear in the area, we were really looking forward to this experience. While we weren't in a hurry, the restaurant was. Drinks were ordered and they pushed to have a food order at the same time. We choose to wait to order the food until the drinks were brought to us. We ordered the Burmese style beef and goat stew as well as the Moh Hin Ga (Fish Noodle Soup). While the sauces of the meat stews were nice, it wasn't spectacular! The stew meats were definitely not tender. If you enjoy tough meat, then these dishes are for you. Additionally, the Moh Hin Ga was lacking in flavor and in my colleagues words: "would not order it again". Also, soft drinks and iced tea and refilled complimentary. Given the rush and the below average experience, will not be going back. Given there their great Yelp ratings, there seems to be a lot of patrons that like it. Maybe we just attended them on a bad day or the normal Chef was not present that day...
Botika offers a unique blend of Peruvian and Asian dishes in a beautiful location that enhances the dining experience. While some guests found the food to be lacking authenticity and the service to be subpar, others raved about the lovely ambiance and delicious offerings. The limited menu was not an issue for many, with the portion sizes being generous and perfect for sharing. Overall, Botika seems to be hit or miss, with some patrons loving the culinary experience and others feeling disappointed. However, for those willing to give it a try, the eclectic and flavorful menu combined with the fantastic ambience make it a worthwhile visit.

I think I was greeted by a young redhead called Bridgett at my visit to Botika last night. She was very polite and made me feel comfortable in the food I ordered as it was a little from my comfort zone. I started with the dragon roll and it was different, but really good! I finished the octopus, which was also very good. My server informed me that if something was not to my wishes, it would be able to handle it for me and not worry. That was very soothing and will definitely have to come back to see them!
Huge portions and we ordered the small plates. As always, the food was savory and the Paloma drink was super refreshing, especially after having dipped into the restaurant. I like the outside seats and all their servers wore masks and were extremely gracious.
In Botika stopped for late lunch and dinner. We really enjoyed the Peruvian / Asian fusion of dishes we tried. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. In any case, give this place an attempt.
Amazing service, Kellner was very attentive and personal. Food came fast and tasted great. Good choice.

Empanadas are good. The rolls use way too much sauce and lime. Beware, rolls use a ton of nori so if you love nori and can’t get enough of it then this is the place. Otherwise, yuck. It’s way overpriced for the quality. The food flavors are clunky and not well balanced. Service is excellent.
Great atmosphere with knowledgeable and attentive staff. The food is amazing and keeps me coming back to this spot. Go for a nice bottle of saki with your dinner.
Once again, the food at Botika was exceptional! Their menu offers a wide range of delicious dishes and sushi. The location at The Pearl in San Antonio is unbeatable, with a view of Hotel Emma. The service is always top-notch and they have a great selection of beer, wine, and liquor. I am looking forward to returning soon!
Great food and service the ambiance is always good here. Our server Stephanie was friendly and funny and she gave us great recommendations for both food and cocktails . She basically had the bartender surprise us and the drinks where really good not watered down.

Exquisite and bold. Definitely coming back soon. If you like Asian food you need to try this place.
Love this place! Went for my moms birthday and they were prompt at seating us. I have a gluten intolerance. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and could easily answer my questions as well as make suggestions for how to modify some dishes to be gluten free. Loved the food!!! This will be added to the top of my list of safe places to eat!
Not only were the aesthetics on point, the food was remarkable! If you enjoy Asian fusion food don’t sleep on BOTIKA
