What Garret Blick doesn't like about American Comedy Co :
It's not a bad place. The seat is a little chaotic. The real problem is the ridiculous beverage prices. I ordered 2 coffees and then I was told that I had to order two more drinks: I went with 2 cranberry juices. The sum? $43.00. If that were alcohol-free, I would hate seeing the bill for alcohol. You can get cheaper drinks in a amusement park. If you are on a budget, order water or avoid this place completely. View all feedback. What করিম তাসনীম likes about American Comedy Co :
Came on 12/13/22 for open mic night and had a blast! The host was hilarious, and I enjoyed watching all the comics. Loved the $5 drink specials too! If you’re looking for a fun Tuesday night out in San Diego, this is the spot. View all feedback.

read moreThe American Comedy Co. in the Gaslamp District offers both entertainment and challenges to its patrons. Some reviewers have criticized the venue for its high beverage prices and mandatory minimum drink purchases. Others have found issues such as a sewer smell in the basement location and difficulties with obtaining tickets. However, many have also highlighted the great ambiance, attentive service, and quality entertainment provided by the comedians. With mixed opinions on the venue's staff and policies, it seems that a visit to the American Comedy Co. can be a unique experience for each guest, depending on individual expectations and circumstances.
