I dad Tartipoulet and my wife had a pizza. Lovely food and friendly staff, would definitely recommend. Was quiet for a Saturday evening but most likely because we were there early at 6.15pm.
I genuinely don’t think I have the words to describe how poor this experience was. It’s a small, quaint place and the pizzas looked nice at first glance. However, the kitchen area appeared messy, and the chefs were using the same tea towel for multiple tasks, which wasn’t very reassuring. We stood waiting to be acknowledged—keeping in mind how tiny the space is—for over eight minutes (I only started timing after a few minutes had already passed). I may as well have been invisible. There was absolutely no acknowledgement at all. The server was standing barely two feet away from me, fully aware of our presence. All the staff seemed busy, but no one made any effort to greet us or let us know whether a table was available, how long the wait might be, or even if we could order drinks while waiting. I can appreciate that there may have been a language barrier, but I was standing directly in front of them. When I finally said hello in an attempt to get some acknowledgement, I was abruptly shouted at. I actually laughed out of disbelief—and we walked straight out.
5 Stars for this incredible pizza place from a big English family. Called a few hours before to reserve a table for 16 including 4 children and a baby. They served all our food at the same time and were very accommodating. The pizzas were Huge and the best we have ever tasted. Highly recommend.
