the shop houses (under many other things) a stand of the technology croissant avec mandel, aux chocolat and brownies with chocolate drops. perfect place to start the day in winter skiing season. shop is attacked and many products are not available. Service...was a bit slow notice: the young waitress was definitiw charming, in her movement and attitude. View all feedback.
They do really good quiches and tasty cakes here. The croissants and bread are nice, but not as amazing as Tiffany's across the road.
Nice little cafe, particularly the eclairs. In summer, the addition of giant, incredible ice cream sundaes to the menu lifts the cafe from being good to excellent.
The cakes are excellent and superb value at around €3 each. It's the same price whether you eat in or take away and the tables outside are perfect for people watching, particularly on market day (Wednesday morning). The tables inside are quite dark and cramped and service can be a little slow.
Great for afternoon tea, real cosy ambiance, or buying deserts and chocolates. Those are made locally and are delicious. They have couple creations using local blueberries and pastries.
On a recent stay in Samoens, we picked up the bread here each morning. Also enjoyed meeting friends here for coffee and a tasty treat, like a mini rhubarb tart, delicious! So disappointed they closed for annual holidays before our stay in Samoens was over.
