Great place worth visiting, definitely recommend! Make sure to leave the tip as it's not included in the total cost. A charming restaurant in a beautiful location, friendly staff and great service. What Miljenko B doesn't like about Gabrek 1929:
I don't know how they got these high reviews, maybe the were once a good restaurant. Wild boar sauce vas too greasy with thick burnt skin on top of meat, like it was clay. Veal liver also had thick char marks that were inedible. Side dishes were good, nothing to complain there. Service is average but compared to the size of the restaurant it isn't strange that they don't get to be at every table in time. View all feedback.
The food was amazing, especially the mushroom soup and the wild boar with cranberry sauce!!
As someone who goes to restaurants oftenly, I undoubtely say the quaility of service was top notch. There is no need to talk about the food simply amazing.
Great restaurant. Service was excellent and food was very flavourful. The menu is available in English upon request and the wait staff speak English as well. I definitely recommend for family lunches, get togethers, reunions and other special occasions. The area is beautiful. If you are traveling and visiting Samobor this is a good place to try some delicious Croatian foods. Odlično!

I really like what they've done with outdoor space. Turning parking spaces into dining area, near the stream. Atmosphere and sounds there are great. And the food is absolutely amazing. Veal is out of this world. And all the side dishes, salads and soups as well. Big recommendation to everyone and I'm sure I'll be repeating my visits as often as I can.
