I fancie... read more Ducked into this friendly taverna to escape the storm today, 50mph winds drove us off the sea-front but very lucky to find a table free within minutes. I fancied tuna salad but it was not available so chose Greek salad, tomato burgers as an appetiser (after hearing another customer saying how wonderful they were). Neil chose grilled sardines with lemon, olive oil fresh oregano. We weren't disappointed! Fabulous delicious food very generous portions. The slab of feta on the Greek salad was enormous, the tomato burgers were indeed amazing cans with tzaziki more sliced tomato there were 4!!! I totally over-ordered!! The sardines were perfect too, although I couldn't eat one with all I already had! They served Kefalonia beer which Neil enjoyed, local wine, hmmmm, not quite the quality we preferred but washed down well with the Greek food. The staff were absolutely lovely, it was crazy busy with people coming off the street in a hurry, tablecloths tables blowing everywhere everyone wanting to be served! You must go! It's a dream. Typical Greek but oh so very good... do try the tomato burger....but one portion feeds many!
