The atmosphere was great as it's outside but covered, the staff were happy to answer questions about the food but I definitely chose the wrong meal for me. The Pork belly burger had 3 different pickles, onion, cucumber and ginger all competing with no winners and the pork belly fat wasn't rendered. What User doesn't like about Walton's Pantry:
The food was good and reasonably priced. We ordered two children's meals and they were given adult-sized utensils. Four meals were brought out over the span of ten minutes, with the two children ordering the same dish but receiving them at different times. We requested table water and napkins, but the waiter "forgot" to bring them. We had to remind him. When the water finally arrived, we discovered a fly in the bottl... View all feedback.
Great location. perfect for children and pets. eating and service is also friendly. good cafe style good and great healthy options as well. beautiful relaxed mood.
Delicious coffee and eat, I had the latte frappy and it was the best ive had in a long time! I also love how peaceful it is, away from the hectic of the main road, beautiful view and friendly service, relaxed atmosphere. I'm sure it's coming back!

Good food, but they did mix up the order - not that my husband mentioned. He scoffed my burger before I noticed! His burger choice was good too, so no great loss.I want to go back and try more of the menu options (they all look good!)
We stopped in as we had heard a lot about this place and were keen to try it. We are locals and were keen to support an enterprise even half as good as 'The Lodge'. What a disappointment this was. We ordered the salmon and calamari salads as they sounded promising from the description. The calamari was limp and as sad as the uninspiring salad it sagged on. The promised pickles consisted of sweet pickled onions fresh from the jar and over processed sushi ginger. The salmon had been removed from the pack and dumped on the leaves. The promise of fresh local produce in favour of average food thrown together with whatever was in the cupboard. The young girl serving us was unsmiling and unfriendly and didn't seem to wonder why we barely touched our awful lunch. This was such a missed opportunity to do something better than a glorified tuck shop.
