What User doesn't like about Rd Crab Shack:
Order from here at your peril. We ordered small crab and shrimp, the best of it was seriously overcooked, the worst of it inedible. This is an expensive dinner option, I don't understand how anyone can let such dismal food leave their establishment for paying customers. Had we been served this in the restaurant rather than ordering on Foodpanda we would just have walked out. View all feedback.
The restaurant is quite far from the city, so it's best to have a private car to get there. The food was decent, but it took a while for our orders to be served since it wasn't peak hours and we were just another table to fulfill. I enjoyed the fried crawfish, as they were larger than the crabs that were cooked in their special sauce. However, the sauce itself lacked a bit of seasoning, so there is room for improvement in that area.
They recommended trying the seafood ice cream with crumbs, shrimp, and seaweed, along with a side of bark. However, after waiting 30 minutes, they informed us that the crabs were not available. Since we were very hungry, we decided to order the beef pares instead. Unfortunately, the meat was tough and almost inedible.
Whomever the owner or manager is, please remind them to wear personal masks and face shields. Your veggies also seem to be a bit overcooked.
The restaurant is excellent, with attentive staff. Food, service, and atmosphere all receive a 5-star rating.
This restaurant is easy to access, has a pleasant ambiance, and serves delicious food at a very affordable price.
