I was pleasantly surprised to discover a French restaurant in Davao, as I had not expected to find one. The owners, Yves and Pinklie, were a lovely couple who entertained and familiarized customers with the menu. They started with bread and olives, and I couldn't get enough of the crispy baguette that was soft on the inside. The host even gave me some to take home. The escargot was good and the pasta was excellent. I preferred the pasta over the lamb. Yves was knowledgeable about wine and recommended a good bottle of red. I enjoyed everything except for the durian cake, which was topped with homemade durian ice cream. It was overpowering for me, but then again, I know not many people are fans of durian.
This restaurant is fantastic! The service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is lovely. It is always a pleasure to dine here!
This intimate French restaurant is located at the far end of Torres Road in the city of Davao. Upon entering, guests can feel the warmth and exclusivity of the space. With only a few tables, patrons can be assured that there are no crowds or disruptive noises. The friendliness and helpfulness of the waitress is truly remarkable, treating guests as if they were regulars rather than first-time visitors. They even offered to take photos of the diners. The French owner of the restaurant was present, interacting with diners, explaining the menu, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. His two stunning daughters also personally served customers. The chef, who is the wife of the French owner, prepared a delicious and flavorful meal for us. The soup, salad, pasta, main course, and dessert were all excellent and prepared with care. We were there to celebrate our friend's golden birthday, and the staff recommended dressing up for the occasion. Bon Appetit was the perfect place for such a special milestone celebration.
Best French cuisine I ever had on the philippines! the hostess and hostess are super friendly, eating was super, totally recommend it to anyone who seek for a quality and eat to fulfill
Best French food in Davao. In a cozy place that makes you feel like home. Run by Yves, a genuine French art lover. I had BEEF TARTARE. With a Côte du Rhone red wine. And closed with some French blue cheese.
