Taverna Knossos – NIKO der Grieche - Griechische Spezialitäten im Lehener Wirt

We visited this restaurant three times during a visit to Salzburg. The food was really very good and the owner and staff were very polite and efficient. The portions were quite big and the Greek wine was very good. The restaurant is run by a family and was very clean. The prices were very reasonable.h

We went there with the party of 7. We ordered many different appetizers and main dishes. Food was average, no special flavours came out. Our biggest surprise was when we wanted to have pita bread along with appetizers and it stated in the menu 2.60€ per pita??? We asked the waitress if they have normal bread, we got 2 slices (to share with 7 people and then they ran out : so finally we ordered 2 pita breads, but for our disappointment it came deep-fried. If you have been in Greece, you would consider this experience a nightmare.

Das Essen war super: Gefüllte Weinblätter, Oktopus in Alufolie gegrillt mit Rotwein, Grillteller mit Gyros, Cevapcici und Lamm, Bifteki, Baklava... und natürlich der halbsüße Imiglykos... Das Service ist sehr freundlich, der Gastgarten groß. Freu mich aufs nächste Mal.
