Restaurant s'Herzl - Salzburg

This was a fun restaurant to stop in and have dinner. Also listed as Restaurant Goldener Hirsch, but appears to be the same place. The wait staff was very friendly and dressed in traditional garb, which added to the nice atmosphere in the restaurant. The...food was good, with a nice variety of choices. Fried chicken was served with potatoes and dessert was a rich chocolate cake. Convenient location in the heart of the city. Great place to visit for some traditional fare.

Two couples, both celebrating 50 years of marriage, enjoyed one of our best meals here during our three weeks in France and Austria. The restaurant was the perfect size for quiet conversation. The wait staff was amazing, we must have had five servers working with...us during our meal. The menu and wine choices were perfect, as were the meals. Such a positive experience.

Tucked in at the end of the city this restaurant has great food and service with a small, but good wine selection. We had taken a day trip from Munich (2 hours) and were looking for a place out of the tourist crowds (October 2023)....The Euro/ rate was excellent at a 4% discount. Wandered by and stopped for lunch. Totally awesome!

On Christmas Day 2019 our family had lunch at Herzl. It was lovely. Traditional Austrian restaurant with hearty and tasty food and lovely decor. Exceptional and attentive service. As a larger group, we had our own little alcove which was perfect for us. If...anyone is looking for a fantastic place to enjoy Christmas Lunch this is the place for you.

If you are a fan of authentic Austrian food this charming little restaurant in the best part of town hits the spot for lunch or dinner. The food is absolutely wonderful as well as the professional, extremely kind and attentive staff fluent in several languages....I also need to point out that the experience put me in such a great, relaxed and careless mood that I managed to leave my glasses behind that were swiftly hand delivered by a staff member about 2 blocks away topped with a kind smile....
