This should be a must. Approachable menu; great views; great wine options. We had delightful service from the manager. We really love this place HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

You must not miss visiting this restaurant for an evening . In case you do not wish to eat just have a beer or two and enjoy the panoramic views , specially at the time of sunset . We had beer and salad which was...very good .

Obviously intended to be a gourmand's delight, the most important ingredient: fabulous service, sadly is missing. As we visited on a rainy Saturday, the luncheon crowd was thin. One would have expected that this factor might contribute to better service but it did not....The person who took our order did not pay attention to my husband's request for ketchup with his French fries. The person. who delivered the entrees didn't respond either when for a second time, we requested ketchup. So little attention was being paid, my husband had to go to the person who took the order and ask for the third time for ketchup. The order taker didn't correct this problem bit simply sent a message to the kitchen for a third person to deliver the requested condiment. This certainly is not the kind of attention one expects when paying 20 Euro for a sandwich. I can't imagine what the service would be like on a bright and sunny day.

The restaurant is in the top of the mountain, in the opposite side of the Strasbourg fort. We had seated outside, and if you want the best veal you should make a reservation. The food is delicious but the price was a little bit expensive...for us...

The view of Salzburg old-town and castle are hard to beat. Food and drinks are excellent, service is very attentive. Pricing is adequate, a bit on the high side (add 0.5-1€ per drink 1-2€ per dish for the view) but not excessive (compared to...other tourists hot spots).
