We enjoyed a delicious dinner, served with warm hospitality and amazing ambience. The next time we return to Salzburg, we will definitely dinate here again. Make sure to finish the snaps menu when you finish your meal. A reservation is definitely recommended.

Best carving in town! We're so happy that our local friends brought us here. They serve the best traditional cuisine. Defenitly would make a reservation here. Ask Alex for a fireball

This is an outstanding authentic Austrian restaurant. The Wiener Schnitzel was the best we have ever had. The Pork Shoulder with parsley potato mash was a delightful combination of herb balanced flavors! The sauce enhanced the dish to an wonderful hearty perfection . We also...had the homemade truffle pasta which was the best homemade pasta outside of Italy. The wait staff was friendly and very attentive. I will came back to this place many times!

I had a dinner in this restaurant. The food was normal. But when my wife go to toilet room a woman (the host or worker of restaurant) behaved with her unhospital and even rude. It's very strange to pay for dinner and leave tips and then see the such situation. Totally unrecommended.

We popped in for dinner whilst looking around the old town, and feel we really lucked in. It seems to be run by a husband and wife team - him front of house and her as chef. The food was fantastic, as evidenced by the table of locals next to us who come there for a regular Friday get together. My wife had the goulash, as did most of the 'local' table; and it was as good as one of the other reviewers has said. All the food seemed to be made fresh, from the ground up with real love. The apricots in the strüdel came from the owners own garden.Based on our experience, I'd say don't go here if you're in a hurry. That's not a criticism, just a statement of fact. The service was leisurely, but attentive. Get over it, chill out and spend some quality time talking.
