Canton China-Restaurant - Salzburg

Great Chinese restaurant, I don't understand why only with ~4*. My experience: Ambient 5* Service 5* Soup Wan Tan 4* Baked Shrimps 5* (only amazing! Chicken chap choi 5* Love this plaze anf we do not regret Vienna.

Very bad service and rude old lady owner, they are rude to tourist and children, who do not understand their language. The old lady use body unappropriate body gesture. The food also bad and bland. I do not suggest to dine-in here.

Excellent menu and service. Staying at the Star Inn Zentrum hotel opposite (with baby) so on this trip we used the Canton takeaway service three nights running. Although we struggled to find a menu online or even a takeaway menu in the restaurant the owner...sat me down with a table menu and gave me time to make my selection. Food was brought very promptly and is mid-price range. Credit cards accepted. Dishes come with free steamed rice which saves quite a bit on the vegetable fried rice which they recommend (at extra cost). Quality of food was excellent. Not too heavy on the gravy (so didn’t feel too guilty and meat and veg all nicely cooked and very tasty. Plenty of options including beef, lamb, chicken, duck and fish. We had lamb curry, chicken curry as well as the duck chicken combo with mushrooms and onions. All very good! We’ve been coming to Salzburg for years and we always enjoy visiting the restaurant for sit-in and takeaway. Thoroughly recommended.

Been coming here for years since moving to Salzburg and have yet to find a better Chinese restaurant in town. Reasonably priced, excellent range of dishes that are always perfectly cooked and well presented, plus generous portions and the friendly staff always make for...a pleasant experience every visit!

The Canton China Restaurant in Salzburg offers excellent food. The taste and quality of the food is very good. The service is very friendly and fast. Besides these points the cost of the meals is moderate. A good place to eat out with family and...friends
