Cute place, but non-existent menu, if not for drinks, which did not allow me to leave before ordering the famous paella, which also in Spain does not cost so much. As for quality, I must say good but unfortunately heated. I'm sorry because in the end the place and the service were not bad at all. I visit this during my holidays in Torre Pali , the reason was just because was exactly opposite from the house we rent . The place is small and absolutely a summer only restaurant. Salvatore was very friendly and made us to feel very comfortable from the first moment. The menu is not complicated, just few thinks to choose and that was for me a very positive point , I said ok for sure this man knows what is doing. We order Paella, and really was one of the best I have ever try in my life . The wine collection as well not very big but very careful selected from the local varieties of wines salento) The desert was sorbe from almonds and I have as well and a Mojiito all very well prepared. During the week i spent in Salento I visit many restaurants but this one was the best according the service and the food quality, small but mighty with focus to the customers. Definitely recommended…
Very relaxed atmosphere, and perfect service. We had the paella (the owner has tight links with Spain) and we came back another day and had the octopus. Everything, including side dishes, was delicious. Definitely recommend.
We had our rental apartement just across the street from this place. Since it was late we chose to have dinner here the first night. Besides dinner this place also serves coffee and snacks in the morning as well as lunch. Dinner in summertime at least is by appointment only. And there is mostly only one choice of meal (mostly Paella or some other spanish dish). Luckily we still got a table and our Bulldog was welcome in the restaurant as well. Location is very nice. It's right by the beach in a quiet area of the small town. The Paella for two was pretty big. Big and small shrimp, calamari, mussels. Lots of good seafood. Flavours good and authentic. Rice could have been a tad less cooked. But it was a very good meal. For sure a very good Paella, especially considered that this is Italy. The bottle of Rosé was a good match. Friendly owner, fair prices. A nice dinner.
And the director? arrived in time not only for lunch, we sew at the moment a paella with fresh fish. if we add the sea view of the salty then .really recommended!
