Was Danielle P at Eastern Buffet a mag?
One of the best Asian Buffets in area! Presentation of food and drinks were excellent. Restaurant was clean, presentable, staff was nice. They seemed a little tired, we dined at 9pm so that is expected. I enjoyed the variety and of course the ice cream at the end! You cant beat the price of $12ish per person for all U can eat. Yes Ive had better Sushi, but all the other food made up for the difference. I didnt try th... View all feedback.
What Kelsie B dislikes about Eastern Buffet:
My husband and I moved to SC from PA. We found this place near our house and thought to try it out. We will never be returning. Raw chicken, mushy breading, hot food cold, cold food hot. Brought manager over and she argued with us saying that chicken sometimes comes out pink. Then she wasnt even going to give us a discount. We argued with her about that too. The manager gave us the number for the food inspectors because she thinks we were the problem, not the food! DO NOT EAT HERE.
Good food service seem kind of rushing we weren't done with out first plate and already gave us our check. Takes a while to refill the food in the buffets
Ranks with the worst buffets I've ever mistakenly patronized. Warm sushi. Unchewable hibachi chicken with tooth chipping bone fragments. Big crowd of locals though, and I do mean big. Servers were friendly.
Yum! Good selection. Went on Thurs afternoon and everything seemed fresh and tasty. Sushi was weak, but hey, it's inland South Carolina so... Seating was ample and comfy. Prices as expected. However, my husband is a wonton/dumpling connoisseur and he said they weren't that good. Overall, not bad! We left stuffed and ready for a nap. Lol
We were passing through on I20 and found it on Yelp. Not far from the interstate. Easy to find, not a congested area either. My husband is rather picky about the temperature of the food, most of it was piping hot. Only a couple of things were not hot to his liking but were fine to me. Lots of variety. Not too greasy like some places you find. Place looks new, plenty of space. Two long tables of hot food, one large table cold items, ice cream. Hibachi grill made to order, and sushi. Had something that was unbelievable there, it was a coconut tart. One of the best things I have ever had. Had all the usual items you see at a Chinese restaurants and some unique things like fried blue crab, shrimp and corn. Staff were not friendly but not rude, almost like robots. Service was good though. We plan to go again when we are passing through again.
