Skepparholmen - Saltsjoe-Boo

Updated review at the end of my 6 nights: it was wonderful! the location is amazing, next to the water with beautiful view, walks and bathing. it was a spectacular walk and the view, as well as sitting with an ice or tee. a perfect place to get away from everything and relax. best part indoor and outdoor pool (infinity heated to 35 degrees, beautiful! drinks and snacks are available throughout the day. the breakfast and dinner in the evening (I did not try at the same time were very high quality and quantity. my room is a good size with a beautiful view. the staff have made this holiday special, they are super friendly (especially the restaurant staff, helpful and solved all the problems I had. a highlight was the great live music on Friday Sunday, which I enjoyed! a mix of mostly English songs, very good! the only negatiw was the discovery that I had to pay extra to access the pools and spa, which was the main reason for booking a wellness hotel. this should be more clear on the website. many thanks to all the staff at the hotel skepparholmen!

OK. However, Yasuragi holds a higher level. Very nice view if you have windows facing the water. I thought the quality of the food was probably above average. Rooms: 3 Service: 4 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Great view, Great value

Overnight with spa and dinner. Spa calm and nice. Nice view. Purely. 2 pools, sauna, cold shower, quiet room for meditation etc. Dinner was included where you could choose from the menu. The prices are very high. Small table that quickly became full of plates because everything had its own plate (protein, side, sauce etc). Generally good, but oversalted. The portions in the smallest team, may be worth taking an extra side if you are used to eating a lot. We left the food that was in addition to what was included in the room and did not give a tip. But when we were to pay at check-out, there was a SEK 8 tip included? Feels like that. The room, small. Narrow hall. Comfortable beds. As usual, as in all hotels, too thick blankets in the middle of summer. No blackout curtains or similar, only thin curtains. so when daylight comes it will be bright and difficult. The water from the shower ran into half the bathroom. Noisy ventilation and clearly audible hall outside the room as there is no molding against the floor on the front door. Feels like the room generally needs to be looked over, there are things to improve. But absolutely fine. Then little things that I can feel disturb a little. Hearing lawnmowers while sitting in the bath trying to relax. Cutting metal early in the morning. Disrupts the overall feeling. Understand that it needs to be done. But maybe have gaps in the bathing schedule to cut, or cut things in a stall somewhere else and not next to the restaurant. The staff nice. Nothing to remark. Overall a pleasant stay. But probably won't come back, find other spans more appealing.
