I wanted to catch some empanadas quickly before we meet the rest of our group. The empanadas were great (we took them to go) but they took about 30 to 45 minutes to receive (we ordered around 12 empanadas), which seemed somewhat ridiculous. The staff was kind and just visited us. No amazing experience, but certainly not terrible. The empanadas themselves were amazing.

We found this café in Salta on the first afternoon when we stayed for tea/coffee and liked the ambience of the place, as we were able to observe the world as we were sitting there. It wasn't far from our hotel and was at the center of Salta, so we decided to eat there at the first night and then we liked it so much that we ate again on the next two nights that we were there. Service was good and they found an English menu for us to help us choose our food. We had a mixture of steaks, chicken, pizzas, etc. and found them all to be good. Since it was the center of Salta on the main square, we had the feeling that it was favorable compared to other restaurants in the area. Total value.

The empanadas in this place are quite tasty, which is not on the pizza, just something like pizza... However, the service was only unacceptable. We are always ready to give a decent tip, but they don't deserve a single coin!

Simple and cool bar. Excellent cuisine especially the traditional empanadas . Right in front of Main Park with beautiful views. Very recommended.

The waitress was very uninspirimg and didn't take the time to explain the difference between vino grande y chica. For the housewine grande seemed to be a copa (glass), however for the other wines it seemed to be a bottle. They brought us a different...bottle than we ordered. Furthermore the pizza was cold! After we returned both pizzas to the kitchen, one was reasonably hot and the other one still quite cold. Personnel should smile more too. Until then, just go somewhere else. There are enough decent restaurants with friendly staff (and great steaks) elsewhere in Salta.
