Village Inn - Salt Lake City

It was fantastic. The hostess, a great Middle East, was the most friendly hostess I ever met in a Village Inn.

I would like to thank you for my husband's experience in this restaurant yesterday. We and our autistic son came to an early lunch. Your restaurant was busy, filled with diners enjoy peaceful meals. It even seemed a business lunch. Both were offered what we accepted and quickly clarified for us. Our son was uncooperative and had one of his Fits. He cried and threw himself on the ground several times and refused to enter the main dining area. I'm sorry I decided not to eat there because I knew his passport will only get worse. I didn't want him or my stress to bother your customers. I do not say that my decisions were right or wrong, as it is not the point of my history and my choice is. I am very grateful for the actions of our host. He kept his cool, was sympathetic, and insisted that we remain, despite my son, on his worse. I'll tell you that you keep welcoming and understanding us.

We came here on Christmas Day for a late breakfast. Everything was so great. The staff was so kind and friendly and did their best accommodating everyone, even though they said the kitchen was backed up. We hardly noticed! It was a very pleasant atmosphere and we are so grateful they were open. All the locations north of Salt Lake have since closed. We came from Davis County. The food was delicious. Not a single complaint. Our server was so sweet and got it all right for our family of 6. The regular pancakes and chocolate chip pancakes, French toast, cheese omelet, hash browns... all of it was so good.
