The service was slow, but I understand that there can be challenges in the kitchen. The server was very polite and clearly working hard. The biscuits were exceptional, as always, and the salad was good. However, the chowder was quite bland and watery. The main entree was just okay, but the garlic shrimp were old and rubbery. It’s Red Lobster so I’m not expecting classic and high end service. Our server was enthusiastic in the beginning, but had the timing of someone who needs lots of training. They interrupted in an abrupt way with no clue how to checkin without being intrusive. My steak was **** though ordered medium well. Won’t likely go to this location again.
Food was average, service below average.. ordered appetizers, the mussels were outstanding, everything else average.
The food was really good! I am definitely planning to go back with friends in near the future. Thanks a bunch!
Even though we used OpenTable, we were told it would still be a 20 minute wait which turned into an hour wait, even though we were sitting right there. Then, once we were seated it took another 7 minutes to have someone acknowledge us, even though the wait staff would be walking right by us thank goodness for one of the bussers. We were told our assigned waiter was busy so that was the reason we would have delayed service throughout our stay.
We went online to register for the wait list. We were seated immediately in a preferred booth. Wait staff was attentive and food was delicious.
