What Charlotte David doesn't like about New Yorker:
Food and service was great. Was surprised how few diners were here for a Saturday night (it was Easter weekend though). Didn't need reservations. It turned out to be a great meal with no distractions. View all feedback. What DaveG likes about New Yorker:
This is by far the NICEST restaurant in SLC, for special occasions, date night , taking customers. I have been going to the New Yorker sense it opened, up until a few years ago could always count on Tom Seig setting at the end of the Bar.. The GOOD OLD DAYS.. You are treated very well from all the staff.. View all feedback.

The 80s were the era of Lee Iacocca, the Chrysler New Yorker, and the guy who did the interior design at the New Yorker.

read moreThe New Yorker in downtown Salt Lake City offers a great dining experience with delicious food and excellent service. The restaurant has improved dramatically in recent months, with a new menu that is surprisingly yummy. While some diners may find the prices not worth it and the food not up to their standards, others appreciate the unique offerings like Long Island duck and Montauk Point calamari. The atmosphere is classy and consistent, making it a perfect spot for special occasions or date nights. However, the noise level in the dining room can sometimes be a problem. Overall, The New Yorker is a solid choice for those seeking a refined dining experience in Salt Lake City.
