Don't go. DO NOT GO if the parking lot is full as they do not seem to be capable of service when busy. Went during a busy Saturday lunch and waited ten minutes for a table which is no big deal. The problem was being served' the food we requested in a prompt manner. Great place for lunch! eating is delicious and I love the ambiente. the personal is friendly and attentive. I want them to die. I recommend it very much!
While they are salt lake city from every part of the world, when they have a sweet tooth, then there is only one place where they must go! tucked into a small cafe style esserie, can vouch for almost any and every desert here, but the black forest baked, the blueberry cheesecake and the tiramisu in the cupcakes I get the perfect gift!
Seven empty tables and three parties standing at the door of the house and waiting for the hostess to exaggerate us. so we stood there and stared at them (8 people in a 4’x4 room.) after a few minutes, she says to the first party that she can sit now (absolutely nothing happened during this in the meantime). greg focker is waiting for the airplane (watch the clip on youtube and live my hell), yes, it was exactly like that! but, hey, this overwhelming certainty was worth it. it only took another ten minutes after we were finally put on our waiter to pardon us with its inestimacy, just to let us know that he was right back. Amazing! only amazing. the service, the eating, the baked were all like something from a dream. the problem is that it would be hard to eat here without eating enough sugar for a week. I'll be right back!
Food is ok. Not bad for Salt Lake city, but it pales in comparison to a good European bakery I was born and raised in Europe so I know a few things about pastries and breads...Probably 4/10 for food. Their food is definitely better than their pastries. Fruit tart is horrendous, cream is thick and flavorless, cannoli fuggedaboutit (not crunchy, cheap ricotta inside of them, missing flavors in the filling). In general textures of their pastries are off. My poor rating is due to service being pretty bad. Went several times in the past and it was always just ok. Tried to take my family (6 of us) there for lunch on 12/26. Poorly greeted at the door even though place was about 1/3 full....read more
