Contribute FeedbackCopper Common, located in downtown Salt Lake City, has recently transformed from Plum Alley into a trendy bar serving gourmet bar food in a small plates format. The bar is the main highlight of the space, offering mixology-style cocktails and a cozy atmosphere. While some reviewers found the food to be underwhelming and the service lacking, others enjoyed the delicious small plates and friendly staff. The restaurant is perfect for a casual evening out with great company and tasty bites. Overall, Copper Common seems to be a popular spot for drinks and snacks in the downtown area, with a unique selection of cocktails and a laid-back vibe.
It is basically a bar masquerading as a restaurant. The selection was poor. The service was average. If that is your scene, fine. If not, there are better places.
We tried copper common for the first time tonight (new years eve) and the atmosphere was great!!! The food was ok, we liked the small plates....the alcohol selection was sub par (no jack daniels, and no captain morgan) but for other drinks they might be alright! But the real downer was the service....we had a hard time understanding our server and he didn't have much of a personality....we might give it another try even though our first experience wasn't great.

Good for small plates. Pub food. we wanted to go to the sister's restaurant next door, but that was waiting too long. we went to the copper common and were pleasantly surprised. they have some delicious small tellers and salads as well as a decent wine selection.
