What Darui J doesn't like about China Town Eatery:
I grew up in Canton and I know my Cantonese cuisine.The clay pot rice was so bad. Instead of cooking it in the clay pot from scratch, they just put cooked rice from rice cooker in it, made the whole dish so wrong. And it was tasteless. I came here for breakfast today. I like the dimmy. it tastes like the one I had in hk. I also like how to make the chicken and mushroom rice caserole. it's delicious. have they ever tried a pineapple beer with custard inside? you should try.

Hardly above average, not the best. I went last night without any kind of expectation to china town eatery, I was just hungry and wanted to get something to eat. I ordered her yang chow fried rice and since I love dim sum and I am in china town, I thought it would be nice to try her siu mai the siu mais came quite fast, but they were average, I had better in slc. the fried rice came about 15 minutes later and on the top, which was part quite large and it was actually quite good. the cute, the cloves they served were bad and the chefs still served it. No Flavor!. The first tenants of the new China Town was a disappointment. I tried the Dim Sum and it has no flavor at all, not just one dish but all of the Dim Sum However, The bakery was very good. It almost compares to Asian bakeries in Las Vegas. I will be coming back for the bakery and not the food.
