What Ashley Smith likes about Carlos's Kitchen:
The squash pupusa definitely deserves a 5-star rating. Everything else I tried was good, but not the best I've ever had. I would definitely order the meat tamales again, along with the bean and cheese pupusa. As for the cream tamale, I actually would have preferred to enjoy it like cornbread; it had a sweet, moist corn bread flavor and would have been much better with some whipped butter instead of sour cream. Im almost sure the philly cheesteak is the frozen one from costco with added grilled onions. As for the papusas they were good but i waited 50 minutes for 2 of them when the place was empty. View all feedback.

Carlos has the best pupusas. You need to try them, but don't expect them to be fast. Good pupusas take time. Expect to wait, but your patience will be rewarded....
