I’m reluctant to tell everyone how good this lovely, friendly bar/eating establishment is! But OMG! Loved it here. Found it on our first night and Bau was so lovely and accommodating. Nothing (and I mean nothing) was too much trouble even providing a blanket for our daughters’ chilly knees!! The food we had, prepared by Cynthia, was all amazing and the home cooked tapas and desserts were so good! Have one last night here and I would doubt we’ll be going elsewhere for tea tomorrow night!!

We know places in La Pineda where food is much better for the same or even better prices. I don’t consider a virgin cocktail for €6 cheap for example. The same about the service: it was ok.

Thankfully, we... read more I'd done a bit of research before coming out to Cap Salou to find out where I could get some decent tapas and this place was top of my list try. Thankfully, we were not let down and I could not recommend this spot enough. We came here last Sunday as a family with our toddler, and the owners were incredibly accommodating and friendly. The food was very good (none of that grease covered stuff you get from your run of the mill eatery). All home made and we were made to feel very welcome. We couldn't order the trio of hummus as it wasn't available but the owner still brought some of the beetroot hummus out complimentary. Our drinks were fantastic with a nice choice of sangria. My only regret is we left it so late to come here and only made it the one time. Unfortunately we were based at the H10 at the bottom of the hill, which made it difficult for my parents to get to. Thank you for your hospitality and if we ever visit the area again, this will be top of our list. Tip finding this place: there's a staircase just past the supermarket near Route 66/Tropical restaurants. Follow this up to the top of the hill and you'll find Cafe del far at the top (next to another bar). Make sure you check the opening hours beforehand.

The staff were friendly... read more Great little bar, away from the busy beachfront restaurants, in a quiet neighbourhood but the outdoor seating was busy in the evenings. The staff were friendly and remembered you if you visited again. There was always someone with a dog there, so bonus if you love dogs! They had a few vegan options, (vegan chef! so we tried all of them and they were all really good. Only remembered to take a picture once before we ate it all! We went back a few times during our holiday and would recommend it.
