Fichtenhof - Salorno

Fichtenhof is found in the little hamlet of Cauria, a typical South Tyrolean mountain settlement, surrounded by the forests and meadows of Monte Corno Nature Park. We ate lunch here with friends to celebrate a 60th Birthday and left with a memory that will stay with me forever. Service was very good, explaining local dishes very well and making recommendations. Our food was terrific, tasty and full of flavour and we were also blessed with a lovely sunny day, perfect for eating a leisurely lunch at the outside tables. After lunch we took the opportunity for a stroll around the hamlet and surrounding forest and meadows before returning for dessert and coffee.
